Typographical London

This university project began as a result of a letterpress workshop where I explored the readability of type within curved shapes. I adapted this thought process into a project that pushed how abstract a local guide to London could be.

By reducing a guide down to the core necessities of location and activity, the results culminated in a striking one-page map/guide combination. From this, I split each neighborhood into a single- page entry within a small booklet for additional clarity.

The original intention was to produce a booklet, but I found the more successful piece to be the map/guide which could be used folded to explore the city, or simply framed as a graphic artwork.
