This comprehensive maths book for children aged 7-11 and their parents keeps the subject simple from start to finish.
I was responsible for idea generation and layout design for a number of spreads within this project. These spreads needed to visually explain topics as simply and clearly as possible, while also engaging the young audience with a fun and approachable design style.
To further appeal to young readers I designed and illustrated a series of friendly ‘robot helpers’ to act as a helping hand throughout the book - a point of reference with practical advice, tips and tricks, or a few encouraging words.
