I was responsible for creating a number of clean, modern, simplified illustrations detailing plant features. From leaf shape, plant structure, seed or plant type, the illustrations needed to be clearly recognizable and biologically accurate while maintaining a modern design. Given the complex subject matter, perfecting this balance between accuracy and aesthetics was a tricky task at times.
