My final design report for the Industrial & Theoretical Contexts unit of my degree at London College of Communication. Written, designed, and produced by myself, this piece is an articulation of my research into the publishing industry.
Focusing on the use and importance of paper stock to various publications and the impact this has on the reader, I take an in-depth look at industry practices, both design and production, to better understand the effect this often overlooked area of design has on the reader, and could continue to have in the future.
