opportunities so that sufficient funding is available to complete the Park and guarantee it remains in world-class condition. I oversee and assist Friends with the design and production of a number of projects where the Trust brand is used in marketing materials, promotional and outreach campaigns, as well as fundraising and volunteer events. As Friends is a partner of the Trust, affiliated but not entirely tied to the core brand, there is potential to push the design guidelines and experiment with visual style and final print production techniques. <img width="2646" height="1386" width_o="2646" height_o="1386" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/9be652bcbf6d03f437106af185cad7f3d766c366bddab1f19e15cc05f39a80d1/PC_Luncheon_Combination.jpg" data-mid="98731779" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/9be652bcbf6d03f437106af185cad7f3d766c366bddab1f19e15cc05f39a80d1/PC_Luncheon_Combination.jpg" /> <img width="1920" height="1008" width_o="1920" height_o="1008" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/3e1ee6b539985601878970e233e9ea5d3454511d816ecc986845522c3e06a9a7/HRPK550_DA_FB.jpg" data-mid="98731936" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/3e1ee6b539985601878970e233e9ea5d3454511d816ecc986845522c3e06a9a7/HRPK550_DA_FB.jpg" /> <img width="360" height="360" width_o="360" height_o="360" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/17e3d7bd9cc7287f63d3054361e586d93d67949e216c53c862cd4e58f198645a/-HRPK550.gif" data-mid="98731979" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/360/i/17e3d7bd9cc7287f63d3054361e586d93d67949e216c53c862cd4e58f198645a/-HRPK550.gif" /> <img width="360" height="360" width_o="360" height_o="360" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/8b2b362de1327f619c4061c43bcfaf71e423334b6bf32ae83408a8c9ade9863c/Runner_360.gif" data-mid="98731981" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/360/i/8b2b362de1327f619c4061c43bcfaf71e423334b6bf32ae83408a8c9ade9863c/Runner_360.gif" /> <img width="1920" height="1008" width_o="1920" height_o="1008" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/bb567517b6e9800ed3b0af7504f5e2dddb5c9950d4a28f56937c8b35429bd713/HRPK550_DA_FB2.jpg" data-mid="98731937" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/bb567517b6e9800ed3b0af7504f5e2dddb5c9950d4a28f56937c8b35429bd713/HRPK550_DA_FB2.jpg" /> <img width="1878" height="2879" width_o="1878" height_o="2879" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/eaefbe026c1ee8eb66a1ee8236c14132636b421408f926f815d1eb363bbad715/Friends_ABoard_VolunteerHRPK.jpg" data-mid="100916158" border="0" data-scale="47" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/eaefbe026c1ee8eb66a1ee8236c14132636b421408f926f815d1eb363bbad715/Friends_ABoard_VolunteerHRPK.jpg" /> <img width="2556" height="1494" width_o="2556" height_o="1494" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/a38ced7603a0b3ef00889626fbc0cbecede2f46fa1e76d9eee4d33d1dbe879a2/Friends_Letterhead_Combination.jpg" data-mid="103472896" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/a38ced7603a0b3ef00889626fbc0cbecede2f46fa1e76d9eee4d33d1dbe879a2/Friends_Letterhead_Combination.jpg" /> <img width="2412" height="936" width_o="2412" height_o="936" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/005e97d66e9f9cf0a2aad6534aab0cce01e81c9031d0749e3176ca2be93af53b/Gala_PlaqueImages_Combination_2.jpg" data-mid="103471728" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/005e97d66e9f9cf0a2aad6534aab0cce01e81c9031d0749e3176ca2be93af53b/Gala_PlaqueImages_Combination_2.jpg" /> <img width="2664" height="1512" width_o="2664" height_o="1512" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/2a80822d7709a9b189f1f76cd02083f08fca9bd014f10a9c7768f96a27313b45/Friends_Holiday_Party_Invites.jpg" data-mid="98686527" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/2a80822d7709a9b189f1f76cd02083f08fca9bd014f10a9c7768f96a27313b45/Friends_Holiday_Party_Invites.jpg" /> https://alexmlloyd.com/little-guide-Clapham Wed, 25 Jun 2014 16:32:10 +0000 Alex Lloyd https://alexmlloyd.com/little-guide-Clapham little guide - clapham My aim for little guide was to reimagine the way we use a travel guide. A segment of my final major project at London College of Communication, little guide was an exploratory piece reviewing and rearranging our interaction with travel guides. This piece, centering on bold colors and playful hand drawn imagery, gives a more casual sense of a destination compared to the cumbersome guides often found at bookstores, train stations, and airports. This truly pocket sized guide fits in just the right amount of information to whet your appetite. The concept is easily scaleable to incorporate a collection of London neighborhoods, and some day, perhaps, destinations further afield. <img width="1000" height="667" width_o="1000" height_o="667" Alex Lloyd https://alexmlloyd.com/Timelines-of-Everything Timelines of EverythingFrom the Big Bang all the way through to the digital age, this incredible visual encyclopedia for children shows you just about everything that has ever happened in history. This extensive title, the first in a new, highly visual, majority illustrated series proposal, challenged my illustrative skills across a number of spreads. Each spread walks the reader through often complex timelines exploring and explaining world history to a young audience. It was my task to bring these timelines to life by combining clear layout designs and engaging illustrations. <img width="2976" height="1777" width_o="2976" height_o="1777" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/66caada4f637468601725abbda7f1725fb50fb65a6d9263ebd93c1e9945a667c/Title.jpg" data-mid="95070609" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/66caada4f637468601725abbda7f1725fb50fb65a6d9263ebd93c1e9945a667c/Title.jpg" /> <img width="2976" height="1777" width_o="2976" height_o="1777" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/a08c57238f9a321a9e974375c58853a5c5a8810701f1c232f306c789a9fc1378/092-093_306015.jpeg" data-mid="95070601" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/a08c57238f9a321a9e974375c58853a5c5a8810701f1c232f306c789a9fc1378/092-093_306015.jpeg" /> <img width="2857" height="1706" width_o="2857" height_o="1706" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/d51f71c696a2b70f3f60026a09f7f95cc4c903391c213c7f668da3436cc26224/266-267_306015.jpeg" data-mid="95070608" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/d51f71c696a2b70f3f60026a09f7f95cc4c903391c213c7f668da3436cc26224/266-267_306015.jpeg" /> <img width="2857" height="1706" width_o="2857" height_o="1706" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/d218113719773f721cff373090676f1b1174ff6270212c1e9d7965fc616fd827/294-295_306015.jpeg" data-mid="95070615" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/d218113719773f721cff373090676f1b1174ff6270212c1e9d7965fc616fd827/294-295_306015.jpeg" /> <img width="2976" height="1777" width_o="2976" height_o="1777" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/2ae558c4f865cda8748768c1feae148ff8aced944480bec37de44d16e9b6a9b9/258-259_306015.jpeg" data-mid="95070613" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/2ae558c4f865cda8748768c1feae148ff8aced944480bec37de44d16e9b6a9b9/258-259_306015.jpeg" /> <img width="2976" height="1777" width_o="2976" height_o="1777" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/264d5768b697d43ec84f34652ae0592509a9f73e151120c30bbe1ca992bce4f1/158-159_306015.jpeg" data-mid="95070604" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/264d5768b697d43ec84f34652ae0592509a9f73e151120c30bbe1ca992bce4f1/158-159_306015.jpeg" /> <img width="2976" height="1777" width_o="2976" height_o="1777" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/52460c73d264f35ce5f84eb2fc43454487e7ab50bacc6cbffbc9a46afffba7fe/166-167_306015.jpeg" data-mid="95070605" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/52460c73d264f35ce5f84eb2fc43454487e7ab50bacc6cbffbc9a46afffba7fe/166-167_306015.jpeg" /> <img width="2976" height="1777" width_o="2976" height_o="1777" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/f02d40ddcf0fde2d8e7d5810f38e38fa2203f324e486cb6222837a10707b556a/094-095_306015.jpeg" data-mid="95070602" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/f02d40ddcf0fde2d8e7d5810f38e38fa2203f324e486cb6222837a10707b556a/094-095_306015.jpeg" /> <img width="2976" height="1777" width_o="2976" height_o="1777" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/038dee8963cc056c4bd66e844bc1e270a1ce9ac92d56cf7af821d4a4f0241110/150-151_306015.jpeg" data-mid="95070603" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/038dee8963cc056c4bd66e844bc1e270a1ce9ac92d56cf7af821d4a4f0241110/150-151_306015.jpeg" /> <img width="2976" height="1777" width_o="2976" height_o="1777" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/e7956c2c469873bd2930de631fe728d1c2b74a7aa033db2317e5fa75f64e6394/104-105_306015.jpeg" data-mid="95070611" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/e7956c2c469873bd2930de631fe728d1c2b74a7aa033db2317e5fa75f64e6394/104-105_306015.jpeg" /> <img width="2976" height="1777" width_o="2976" height_o="1777" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/48d5ceea2ff9ef9be82bef66f5870d007ea208e933f335f9d9ed8307f20ced0b/284-285_306015.jpeg" data-mid="95070614" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/48d5ceea2ff9ef9be82bef66f5870d007ea208e933f335f9d9ed8307f20ced0b/284-285_306015.jpeg" /> <img width="2976" height="1777" width_o="2976" height_o="1777" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/0678ec74bab4cb95fc3865c2edc2b128103066ca5051d490e73ca70f47f61bd0/Alhambra_1.jpg" data-mid="95070610" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/0678ec74bab4cb95fc3865c2edc2b128103066ca5051d490e73ca70f47f61bd0/Alhambra_1.jpg" /> https://alexmlloyd.com/Does-paper-stock-matter Tue, 17 Jun 2014 16:33:14 +0000 Alex Lloyd https://alexmlloyd.com/Does-paper-stock-matter Does paper stock matter? My final design report for the Industrial &amp; Theoretical Contexts unit of my degree at London College of Communication. Written, designed, and produced by myself, this piece is an articulation of my research into the publishing industry. Focusing on the use and importance of paper stock to various publications and the impact this has on the reader, I take an in-depth look at industry practices, both design and production, to better understand the effect this often overlooked area of design has on the reader, and could continue to have in the future. <img width="1000" height="750" width_o="1000" height_o="750" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/0d9e9e6f709442bf9d8859f35297bf487133b5ca36e7e27d09707be48a1af705/1-1_o.jpg" data-mid="95070675" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/0d9e9e6f709442bf9d8859f35297bf487133b5ca36e7e27d09707be48a1af705/1-1_o.jpg" /> <img width="1000" height="750" width_o="1000" height_o="750" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/9ac82089d4c92a663fc84fce3edb44ffd3c900a500ba9e1137f1a2596ce41d1c/2_o.jpg" data-mid="95070642" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/9ac82089d4c92a663fc84fce3edb44ffd3c900a500ba9e1137f1a2596ce41d1c/2_o.jpg" /> <img width="1000" height="750" width_o="1000" height_o="750" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/1bd466c4528c7f133a93f3d95ac29b14be83b552ede5553a17904414f571b455/5_o.jpg" data-mid="95070645" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/1bd466c4528c7f133a93f3d95ac29b14be83b552ede5553a17904414f571b455/5_o.jpg" /> <img width="1000" height="750" width_o="1000" height_o="750" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/2e43d0b18763268d8feb7cd0e9502ff6d591af5dc6cf3c9ff5aa2345d0a5c075/6_o.jpg" data-mid="95070646" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/2e43d0b18763268d8feb7cd0e9502ff6d591af5dc6cf3c9ff5aa2345d0a5c075/6_o.jpg" /> <img width="1000" height="750" width_o="1000" height_o="750" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/c159ea577b6e08354a5c3c06a08ff377bf6a42d0dd56e73bca0537b877205d19/12_o.jpg" data-mid="95070650" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/c159ea577b6e08354a5c3c06a08ff377bf6a42d0dd56e73bca0537b877205d19/12_o.jpg" /> <img width="1000" height="750" width_o="1000" height_o="750" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/38131b9955112cc4b09a5b04fb0c3473d5f7a4f51f808a31ecf295cfdd3543b9/10_o.jpg" data-mid="95070648" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/38131b9955112cc4b09a5b04fb0c3473d5f7a4f51f808a31ecf295cfdd3543b9/10_o.jpg" /> <img width="1000" height="750" width_o="1000" height_o="750" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/87e8728386e7c3f4f82db2731f433f075c2aab769f38aa7435cbbfa25f0eb118/13_o.jpg" data-mid="95070651" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/87e8728386e7c3f4f82db2731f433f075c2aab769f38aa7435cbbfa25f0eb118/13_o.jpg" /> <img width="1000" height="750" width_o="1000" height_o="750" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/48b00944c304147ae2b7dae8711b4d08ad0d592c473b6af040226627edac3324/16_o.jpg" data-mid="95070652" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/48b00944c304147ae2b7dae8711b4d08ad0d592c473b6af040226627edac3324/16_o.jpg" /> <img width="1000" height="750" width_o="1000" height_o="750" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/e41c1ec897f3a2f218c05b5565f9dd17a32669fd404891d129c71fd9d7af1ff9/17_o.jpg" data-mid="95070653" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/e41c1ec897f3a2f218c05b5565f9dd17a32669fd404891d129c71fd9d7af1ff9/17_o.jpg" /> <img width="1000" height="750" width_o="1000" height_o="750" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/ac5ffdf819de0be3a4427c0539dfaa8024c88b49b635db9acf7d48b74ee1af03/18_o.jpg" data-mid="95070654" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/ac5ffdf819de0be3a4427c0539dfaa8024c88b49b635db9acf7d48b74ee1af03/18_o.jpg" /> https://alexmlloyd.com/Animals-of-the-world-coloring-book-US Tue, 07 Feb 2017 10:18:49 +0000 Alex Lloyd https://alexmlloyd.com/Animals-of-the-world-coloring-book-US Animals of the world coloring book A US market only title, this project was a huge undertaking. I was tasked with single-handedly designing and illustrating this 96 page adult coloring book for Dorling Kindersley on a very tight 30- day turnaround. Featuring 36 accurately hand drawn animals in their natural habitats , this unique coloring book, including single and double-page entries, was a hugely rewarding project for me. Being given this responsibility and the freedom to showcase and develop my skills was a valuable opportunity I grabbed with both hands and enjoyed every second. <img width="2880" height="2160" width_o="2880" height_o="2160" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/7680671d094ad4eb74e20008775396cd46441f6e0318286b1390090769939db3/_AOTW_COVER_1.jpg" data-mid="95206784" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/7680671d094ad4eb74e20008775396cd46441f6e0318286b1390090769939db3/_AOTW_COVER_1.jpg" /> <img width="2880" height="2160" width_o="2880" height_o="2160" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/dcd0dfed70573f1970e2cea192c5d4d8b5ed07b87242de2c56e47f6d68029ff2/_AOTW_COVER_3.jpg" data-mid="95206785" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/dcd0dfed70573f1970e2cea192c5d4d8b5ed07b87242de2c56e47f6d68029ff2/_AOTW_COVER_3.jpg" /> <img width="2880" height="2160" width_o="2880" height_o="2160" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/4018d83ca453fd2990a2fec9666f12ffd96e1bd3a6065b7c7c3484ce5c9de949/AOTW_CHAMELEON_2880_1.jpg" data-mid="95206690" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/4018d83ca453fd2990a2fec9666f12ffd96e1bd3a6065b7c7c3484ce5c9de949/AOTW_CHAMELEON_2880_1.jpg" /> <img width="2880" height="2160" width_o="2880" height_o="2160" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/cf6da3d3c08ff07c050cf5c6601edc4b0b8068259b25cdb36aac6d544b103a78/AOTW_OWL_4.jpg" data-mid="95206693" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/cf6da3d3c08ff07c050cf5c6601edc4b0b8068259b25cdb36aac6d544b103a78/AOTW_OWL_4.jpg" /> <img width="2880" height="2160" width_o="2880" height_o="2160" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/50f1bce50307604049e8bb0c411dd5bc258422da72c122d56102f99db55a694a/AOTW_OCELOT_2.jpg" data-mid="95206691" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/50f1bce50307604049e8bb0c411dd5bc258422da72c122d56102f99db55a694a/AOTW_OCELOT_2.jpg" /> <img width="2880" height="2160" width_o="2880" height_o="2160" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/c16619256c15fac1d40393fecdf4c055b0bf39419eb60dcbf1c71a3b2f54fcaf/AOTW_OCTO_3.jpg" data-mid="95206692" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/c16619256c15fac1d40393fecdf4c055b0bf39419eb60dcbf1c71a3b2f54fcaf/AOTW_OCTO_3.jpg" /> <img width="2880" height="2160" width_o="2880" height_o="2160" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/43d2d7380dcda9a3f71bb6c9b3bd445caafc1a149e5fbfb59e53fe116a87c8f8/AOTW_TEGU_1.jpg" data-mid="95206694" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/43d2d7380dcda9a3f71bb6c9b3bd445caafc1a149e5fbfb59e53fe116a87c8f8/AOTW_TEGU_1.jpg" />
